Claire Barriet de Garcia: Paris, France; If we think that space, and more precisely the way of inhabiting and appropriating it, exists through preconceived ideas (that each one constructs his own way through his memories, culture, language…) the unexpected, the difference or the provocation allow to push over those ideas. This confrontation questions the appropriation of space in time. The dialectic between the individual perception of space and the confrontation with the other, changes the way of understanding, constructing and making space a place. Those thoughts are the beginning of a research that will hopefully continue and be questioned from different perspectives at wandering-in-space.
